Jay Baruchel

Adam Jonathan Saunders Baruchel yang dikenal dengan nama Jay Baruchel lahir di Ottawa, Ontario, Kanada pada tanggal 9 April 1982. Orang tua jay Baruchel, Serge Baruchel seorang pedagang barang antik sedangkan Robyne adalah seorang penulis lepas. Baruchel memiliki darah campuran, ayahnya yang seorang Yahudi Sephardic italia dan ibunya seorang Katolik Irlandia. Jay Baruchel memulai belajar seni peran saat berumur 12 tahun, ini karena dorongan dari ayahnya supaya Jay mau belajar seni peran. Setahun kemudian Jay akhirnya mendapatkan peran untuk serial anak anak “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”.

Sebagai aktor, Jay Baruchel cutup sukses dalam karir aktingnya ini terbukti dengan keberhasilan dalam mencapai box office pada film Million Dollar Baby, Knocked Up, Tropic Thunder, She’s out of my league, dan How to Train Your.
